European banks had until the end of March to submit data on certain securitization deals to the European Central Bank's data repository. Banks sent data to the European DataWarehouse for 570 of 865 deals listed as eligible for the ECB's repo operation. If banks fail to submit such data, deals eventually become ineligible for the repo operation. The first quarter was a "testing period," and the ECB plans to ramp up standards for data quality through year-end.
