A rewrite of a bill in the Florida Senate on Tuesday removed language that would have repealed the required sale of E10 in the state. The amended bill would "encourage" rather than require that E10 be sold. The bill advanced in a unanimous vote by a state Senate committee. "The words 'encourage' are really just very nice words. But they will not significantly change the current standards," said Sen. Jack Latvala, who introduced the amendment.
