Mobile is a powerful force for change in advertising but any ad technology must be used responsibly, a Google executive advised. Advertisers should put users in control of their online experience, giving them the option of whether to view ads, said Susan Wojcicki, Google senior vice president of advertising, at the ad:tech San Francisco 2013 conference. Ads must be relevant and attractive if they're going to win over customers, she said.
