The mail-order bride business is evolving into a niche known as "premium international dating," with companies making big bucks connecting wealthy Westerners with women willing to chat online for a sliding-scale fee. The market leader, AnastasiaDate, will make around $140 million in 2013, and its traffic is growing, up 220% in 2012. "If you consider where we're going as a global society there's no question that this is the direction we're heading," says Mark Brooks, the site's chief strategy officer.
