International travelers are facing delays at some U.S. Customs facilities at major airports. "Miami has probably been the U.S. airport hardest hit by the overtime cuts," said airport spokesman Greg Chin. Other facilities affected include airports in Los Angeles, New York and the Washington, D.C., area. Los Angeles International Airport spokeswoman Nancy Castles indicated that customs wait times could be 90 minutes longer. "Those kinds of waits are unacceptable. It's annoying to passengers and unacceptable to us," she said.
