With only seven physical stores in North America, French fashion brand Lanvin is extending its retail reach by offering e-commerce on its mobile-optimized site. Lanvin notified its followers of the new option by e-mail and tweet. "The new Lanvin mobile site allows the brand to enter markets that its limited physical presence simply cannot. Furthermore, unlike a desktop experience, mobile commerce does not have the limitation of time and location," said Melody Adhami, president and chief operating officer of Plastic Mobile.
