LS9 is planning to broaden operations at its demonstration facility in Okeechobee, Fla., after successfully completing several production runs, including one for advanced bioproducts firm Cobalt Technologies. After the successful run, Cobalt is considering undertaking additional scale-up activities at the LS9 facility. "Our ability to support other companies' technology scale-up activities is not only an example of the flexibility and the capabilities of our team, it is also an excellent example of how, as an industry, we can work together to make a renewable future a reality," said LS9 President and CEO Tjerk de Ruiter.
