Liberals may loathe Margaret Thatcher, but the late British prime minister was ahead of her time in her acceptance of the threat posed by global warming, Douglas Fischer writes. During her tenure, Thatcher was one of the few world leaders to make calls for climate action. "The danger of global warning is as yet unseen, but real enough for us to make changes and sacrifices, so that we do not live at the expense of future generations," she said in 1990.
