This poses an opportunity for the travel agent industry to step in as a distribution channel through partnerships with medical travel providers, says Anne Marie Moebes, executive vice president of Well-Being Travel. "The travel seller is the knowledgeable professional who can provide a high-quality experience for the patient traveler, domestically and internationally, while allowing the health care provider to handle a high quality of care for the patient," Moebes said.
