Anheuser-Busch is releasing Budweiser cans in a novel shape that mimics the long-standing bow-tie design of its Bud logo. The pinched cans hold 11.3 ounces, rather than the typical 12, and will be sold in packs of eight starting next month. The new shape is intended to be "eye-catching, easy-to-grip, trendy and -- according to our research -- very appealing to young adults," says Pat McGauley, Anheuser-Busch's vice president of innovation.
