Nordstrom has launched an online video campaign with three new spots that use humor to show how the right outfit can help consumers face whatever the day brings. The upscale department store is spending an increasing amount on digital marketing as an extension of the word-of-mouth it has depended on since it opened its first store in 1901, vice president of marketing Michael Crotty said. "Social media is just an extension of what we've done for about 100 years," he said.
