Chicago Bridge & Iron must file a plan to strengthen the "safety culture" of its nuclear components manufacturing facility in Louisiana within 30 days, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission said. The site had a "chilled work environment" that barred workers from airing safety issues, the agency said. CB&I "will take immediate action to create and promote a healthy safety culture, where all employees feel open to identify issues and express concerns," spokeswoman Gentry Brann said.
