The rejection of TransCanada's Keystone XL pipeline in the U.S. could put a dent in ties between the U.S. and Canada, said Alison Redford, premier of the Canadian province of Alberta. The pipeline would ship crude from Alberta's oil sands south through the U.S. to the Gulf coast. "It would become something that we would continue to talk about. It would be a continuing issue," Redford said.
