The letter appears to have come from the same source as another intercepted letter, similarly apparently tainted with ricin, that had been addressed to Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss. More comprehensive tests will be needed to definitively determine the toxin's presence, but officials said the incident showed the need for vigilance in coming days.
