Sinclair Broadcast Group has announced it will buy Fisher Communications in a deal valued at $373 million. With the addition of Fisher's 20 TV stations in eight markets, Sinclair says it will reach about 34% of U.S. TV households. "We are excited to acquire Fisher and expand our coverage westward," said Sinclair President and CEO David Smith. The announcement did not hint at Sinclair's plan for Fisher's three radio stations.
