Despite posting a $171 million net loss in the first quarter as it ends its involvement in the ST-Ericsson joint venture, STMicroelectronics sees a more prosperous period coming in the second half of 2013. "Outside wireless, we've had a good trend for about 15 weeks. We are still working on understanding the sustainability of it, but so far so good," CEO Carlo Bozotti told analysts. "Our focus now is to grow the top line of our wireless products without ST-Ericsson."
