Children with autism spend 1.5 more hours watching television or playing video games than their typical siblings and are more prone to video-game addiction, according to a recent study. "Children with ASD may be attracted to video games because they can be rewarding, visually engaging and do not require face-to-face communication or social interaction," lead author and child psychologist Micah Mazurek said.
