Diet journals kept by more than 6,000 people in France show those with high blood pressure had eating habits that may encourage hypertension, while people with high cholesterol had a better diet, consuming fewer foods high in cholesterol and fat, according to a report in the Journal of Hypertension. Researchers also found people who were overweight had a lower energy intake than people at a healthy weight because they consumed less bread and fewer sweets and fats.
