Nearly half of Generation X respondents said they haven't saved enough for retirement, and about 75% expect Social Security to be available to them, according to a MetLife study. The majority said they expect to work until age 67 or older, but would prefer to retire when they reach age 62, according the survey. Nearly 20% of respondents said they earn less than $35,000 a year, while nearly 30% make more than $100,000.
