With deportations on the rise in the US, a growing number of English-speaking students are returning to Mexico, where schools have had to adjust to the needs of transnational students. For example, schools have introduced training to help teachers best meet the needs of such students. "The challenge is to make sure we are helping students learn effectively in what is a new environment for them," said first-grade teacher Karla Patricia Montaño.
