Twitter's recently announced TV-content deals with Comedy Central and BBC America, amid speculation about potential partnerships with Viacom and NBC, provide a good sense of the service's future direction, Mathew Ingram writes. The microblogging site is "becoming a lot more like a broadcast network, or at least a willing handmaiden for broadcast networks, as CEO Dick Costolo predicted in a speech last year," he writes.
