Annual spending in the U.K. will increase by 0.5% to 1.8% on branded drugs and 10% to 11% on generics through 2015, according to the Office of Health Economics. Analysts used a new "bottom-up" method to base the forecast on input from industry executives regarding new branded products as well as generic and biosimilar drugs.
