Elementary students in Utah learn about math, science and literacy through the dance, music, drama and art in the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Arts Learning Program, which will expand from 75 schools to possibly 130 schools because of $4 million in additional funding from the state Legislature. As part of the program, fourth-grade students at one school have donned costumes and danced while learning geometry, while sixth-graders rapped about the phases of the moon.
