Texas Instruments has introduced the BeagleBone Black development board, which features a 1-gigahertz, ARM-based processor with connectivity and power components. Priced at $45, the TI board competes with Arduino boards and the Raspberry Pi basic computer, Stacey Higginbotham notes. TI is also offering a board with GPS and environmental and motion sensors for $50.
