Students learn through failure and working collaboratively in the project-based, geopolitical World Peace Game, author and GlobalEd adviser Homa Tavangar writes in this blog post. As part of the game, which was first introduced in 1978, students take on leadership roles in four countries with different needs, and must work together through 50 crises to achieve world peace. The game's creator, educator John Hunter, is now the subject of a film and has authored a new book, "World Peace and Other 4th-Grade Achievements," Tavangar writes.
