Ann Sheldon, executive director of the Ohio Association for Gifted Children, says she was surprised that a simulation of the state's report card revealed that some of the state's top schools did not post expected gains for students who are gifted. While she notes that the report is not a complete representation of gifted education in the state, she says it indicates a need for some schools to review how they serve these students.
