Secretary of State John Kerry issued a stern warning to North Korea today, saying that a missile test would not shake America's resolve to defend her allies, and that North Korea would quickly lose any conflict in the region. Kerry discounted a Pentagon report suggesting that Pyongyang had developed nuclear devices capable of being delivered by ballistic missile, and said that U.S. and South Korean forces would quickly triumph if tensions spilled over into military action. "Kim Jong-un needs to understand, as I think he probably does, what the outcome of the conflict would be," Kerry said.
