As the completion of Cleveland's Inner Belt Bridge nears, the project must face one of its biggest challenges -- the placement of steel girders weighing up to 50 tons over the Cuyahoga River. The river will be closed to traffic, and Walsh Construction crews will use two barges, one to carry the steel beams and the other for the 20-story crane. The $293 million project is slated to be completed in October.
