While the children's menu at most restaurants is generally thought of as a nutritional no-man's land, many restaurants are beginning to improve offerings. The Healthy Fare movement in Chicago has begun to make a big difference in plates for young patrons, with widely positive reception. "If you don't ever put the vegetable in front of [children] they are never going to eat it," said chef Sarah Stegner. "It's as simple as that."
