The key to gaining a solid foothold, according to Chambers, is Cisco's reputation with its customers and its tradition of working with its partner community to guide end users through unfamiliar terrain. "Our leadership in the data center, wired and wireless networking and our architectural approach is enabling us to be the trusted partner for many customers as they optimize our business for a world of many clouds," he said.
