Video on demand over the next few years will become such a force that viewers will be able to access all content, all the time, on every platform, said Richard Buchanan, Comcast Media Center's vice president and general manager of content solutions. "It's all about the convenience of consumers that will outweigh everything, with the exception of big live events like The Kentucky Derby and 'Sunday Night Football,'" Buchanan said at the On Demand Summit in New York.
