Electronic Arts will open a studio in Los Angeles for its Stockholm-based Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment subsidiary, which is expected to have a hand in creating "Star Wars" game titles for Disney, along with EA's BioWare and Visceral Games studios. "There is an extreme talent pool [in L.A.] that we want a part of," said Karl-Magnus Troedsson, general manager of DICE, which created the Battlefield 3 game and will release Battlefield 4 this year.
