Evernote is looking to gain from KakaoTalk's 90 million users in its integration with the latter's mobile messaging application. The South Korean app has already been downloaded on 95% of South Korean smart devices, Michael Seo writes. For Evernote, the effort is aimed at expanding its Asia-Pacific presence beyond its current 30% user base in the region, Seo writes, while KakaoTalk hopes to increase its roster of global users.
