Facebook says it's looking to enhance its data-analytics capabilities over the next year. The company uses Corona, Hadoop and Prism for data analytics, and its data warehouse can handle 500 terabytes of new data every day, according to the social network's Ravi Murthy. "Facebook is a data company, and the most obvious thing people think of on that front is ads targeting. But it goes deeper than this," he said Tuesday at an industry conference.
