Charges of phone-hacking and other alleged misdeeds by News Corp. units in the U.K. do not constitute reasons to stop the license renewals for the media giant's Fox-owned stations in Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, the Federal Communications Commission's Media Bureau has ruled. Watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington petitioned the agency to put a halt on the renewals for WTTG and WDCA in Washington and WUTB in Baltimore.
