About 40% of 120 high school football players said that they would inform their coach immediately if they experienced concussion symptoms, U.S. researchers reported at the Pediatric Academic Societies meeting. While more than 90% of the respondents said they knew that returning to the game too quickly after a concussion might put them at risk for serious injuries, 91.4% of them said it was acceptable to play with a concussion.
