Is rotational living good for elderly Chinese? Chinese culture has traditionally meant that elderly live with children or other relatives. This study from Taiwan looked at health outcomes of rotational living and outcomes of those living alone or consistently with the same family members. Rotating elders has worse health conditions than those living consistently with family. Those who lived alone had better outcomes than those who lived consistently with family. Rotational living had the worst outcome for Chinese elderly's health. (Free abstract only.)
