Online retailer Joyus has raised $11.5 million in its latest funding round and a total of $19 million to expand its video-driven online retail platform. Joyus also released a study showing that shoppers in the fashion, beauty and lifestyle categories are 5.15 times more likely to make a purchase after watching video content about products and that video viewers buy 4.9 times as much merchandise as shoppers who only browse product listings.
