A battle between a gun shop in New Melle, Mo., that had been running concealed-carry classes and the city has escalated with a lawsuit against the city after the shop refused to file for a special-use permit. The shop sought a temporary restraining order to continue with classes until the matter is settled in court, but Circuit Judge Ted House denied the request. The judge also let four other parties join the suit, including a nearby homeowners association.
