The Master's in Plant Health Management degree at Ohio State University's College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences is the first graduate program of its kind, and it has been certified by the National Professional Science Master's Association. Anne Dorrance, co-chair of MPHM and a professor of plant pathology, said she believes that demand for people knowledgeable in plant health management is increasing due to growing demand for global food production.
