Three New Jersey universities, including Rutgers, along with Bergen Community College will use a share of $1.3 billion in state funding to build state-of-the-art science buildings and labs. Overall, 176 construction projects at 46 public and private universities are being funded, in part, by the state's first voter-approved bond issue for higher education since 1988. "There's nothing more beneficial to New Jersey than having these science facilities to recruit good students and faculty," said William Paterson University President Kathleen Waldron.
