Chevron's move to acquire 61 acres of land in Pennsylvania, potentially for a regional headquarters, is the latest sign of growth related to natural gas in the Marcellus Shale region, according to this analysis. The region "is projected to dominate the Mid-Atlantic natural gas market," a Deloitte and Touche study says. "We literally have the Saudi Arabia of natural gas under our feet," said Michael Krancer, an energy lawyer for Blank Rome and former secretary of Pennsylvania's Department of Environmental Protection.
