Ninety-two percent of U.S. adults surveyed said they would prefer to know if they have a serious injury or illness, even if they cannot be cured, and 78% said they would be willing to undergo a diagnostic test for a disease, even in cases where treatment is not available, according to a Siemens Healthcare survey. Sixty-six percent said they would pay for diagnostic tests that are not reimbursed by insurance. The survey involved 2,222 U.S. adults.
