Regurgitating regularly after meals does not necessarily mean an infant has gastroesophageal reflux disease and needs testing, medications or surgical intervention, according to new data. More than 60% of healthy babies suffer from uncomplicated gastroesophageal reflux, but most of them outgrow the symptoms by about age 1, the study author said.
