San Francisco International Airport officials say they intend to borrow more than $4 billion to finance the airport's $4.1 billion renovation plan. The project will include upgrades to terminals and construction of a $130 million, 400-room hotel. The work will last 10 years and is expected to create 36,000 jobs. "Rather than just following what other airports have done, we want to set the standard and raise the bar for airport performance," said John Martin, the airport's director.
