Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., has reiterated his support for the push to revoke the 2.3% medical device tax. "I think the chances are good that the 2.3% excise tax on the revenues of medical device companies will be repealed before very long," Alexander told members of the press Thursday when visiting Onyx Medical's facility in Memphis, Tenn. Alexander has previously proposed offsetting repeal by cutting subsidies for the solar energy sector.
