Rides at malls, restaurants and arcades accounted for about 12% of the almost 93,000 amusement ride injuries involving children younger than 18 between 1990 and 2010, a report found. Researchers said that 73% of "mall ride" injuries were due to a child falling in, on, off or against the ride. The findings were published in the journal Clinical Pediatrics.
