Teachers can work to improve their own teaching by bringing in guests to observe the classroom or videotaping lessons, writes Jessica Cuthbertson, a teacherpreneur who teaches sixth-grade literacy. She also recommends applying for National Board Certification, which she said has helped her "identify the professional-learning experiences that have made me a better teacher."
