AT&T's U-verse service has signed on as the first affiliate for a new regional sports network, the SEC Network, which is scheduled to debut in August 2014, according to its partners ESPN and the Southeastern Conference. ESPN will retain its primary rights arrangement with the SEC Network through 2034. The network plans to showcase more than 1,000 events from 21 men's and women's sports -- 450 on TV -- across several platforms.
