Participants at the annual conference of the Association of Corporate Treasurers say that despite regulators' calls to revamp the process for setting the London Interbank Offered Rate, they still trust the benchmark and don't see a better alternative. "I think it works, and I don't want to get rid of it," said Tom Greene, group treasurer at drugmaker Shire. "You just accept that it's subject to a number of individual contributors, and that's just part of what it is."
